StackSnap: Supplement Tracker

        Summary: StackSnap stores all your supplement and health-related data locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or sell personal health information.
    

1. Overview

StackSnap is a general wellness app that helps you organize and understand your supplement routine. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Your privacy is important to us.

2. Data Stored on Your Device

The following data is stored locally on your device only using Apple's SwiftData framework and never leaves your device:

Supplement names, ingredients, and dosages
Daily intake logs and reminders
Prescription names (for interaction lookups)
Savings calculations and streak data
Generated PDF reports

3. Data Sent to External Services

StackSnap connects to the following services to provide core functionality:

NIH DSLD API (api.ods.od.nih.gov) — to look up supplement ingredients. Only the product barcode or name is sent. No personal data is transmitted.
NIH RxNav API (rxnav.nlm.nih.gov) — to check potential interactions. Only ingredient and drug names are sent. No personal data is transmitted.
OpenAI API (via Cloudflare proxy) — for label text recognition when scanning supplement bottles. Only the cropped label image is sent. Images are not stored after processing.

4. Subscriptions

Subscription purchases are managed by RevenueCat, a third-party subscription management service. RevenueCat receives:

An anonymous device identifier
Subscription status (active, expired, trial)

RevenueCat does not receive any health or supplement data. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy for details.

5. Analytics and Tracking

StackSnap does not use any third-party analytics, advertising networks, or tracking SDKs.

Only Apple's built-in crash diagnostics are collected, which you can disable in your device Settings.

6. Children's Privacy

StackSnap is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

7. Health Data Disclaimer

StackSnap provides general wellness information for educational and informational purposes only. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or health condition. Information is sourced from publicly available databases (NIH DSLD, RxNav) and general wellness guidelines.

Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting, stopping, or changing any supplement or medication.

8. Data Deletion

Since all data is stored locally, deleting the app removes all your data. There is no server-side data to request deletion of.

9. Changes to This Policy

If we update this privacy policy, the revised version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
