By downloading, installing, or using CrySnap, you agree to these Terms of Use ("Terms") and to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA) for apps purchased from the App Store. If you do not agree, please uninstall the app and stop using it.
CrySnap is a parenting companion app that helps you interpret your baby's cries and provides general parenting guidance via AI chat personas (Pediatric Nurse, Sleep Coach, Lactation Consultant). The cry classifier returns the most likely interpretation of a recording with a confidence score. Voice Mode allows hands-free interaction. Soothing sounds are generated on-device.
CrySnap is not a medical device, not a diagnostic tool, and not a substitute for professional medical advice, examination, diagnosis, or treatment.
The cry classifier does not diagnose colic, reflux, GERD, allergies, infections, or any other medical condition. The chat personas provide general parenting guidance grounded in published clinical guidelines (AAP, CDC, La Leche League) and explicitly redirect any diagnostic question to your pediatrician.
For severe symptoms — fever in a baby under 3 months (≥100.4°F / 38°C), lethargy, blue lips, difficulty breathing, signs of dehydration, or any sudden change you cannot explain — call 911 or your pediatrician immediately. For suspected ingestion, call Poison Control at 1-800-222-1222.
CrySnap Premium is a subscription service:
Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at the end of the free trial (Weekly) or at confirmation of purchase (Annual). Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the rate displayed at the time of subscription. Subscriptions may be managed and auto-renewal turned off in your Apple ID account settings after purchase.
Prices may vary by region and are displayed in your local currency by the App Store. Any unused portion of a free trial period is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

The CrySnap brand, app, app interface, and original content are the property of the developer and are protected by copyright and trademark laws. The DeepInfant V2 cry classification model is used under the Apache 2.0 license and remains the intellectual property of its respective authors.
CrySnap is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the cry classifier will be accurate in any particular case, that the chat persona advice will resolve any specific situation, that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that the app will be compatible with future iOS versions.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer of CrySnap shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising from your use of or inability to use the app. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (for example, liability for personal injury caused by negligence in jurisdictions where such limitations are not permitted).
Your use of CrySnap is also governed by our Privacy Policy. The audio recording of your baby's cry never leaves your device. Chat messages and voice transcripts are processed via our Cloudflare Worker proxy and are not retained on our infrastructure or by upstream providers (per the configurations of those services).
If we make material changes to these Terms, we will post the updated version on this page with a new effective date and surface the change inside the app. Continued use of CrySnap after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the country in which the developer is established, except where local consumer protection law of your jurisdiction provides you with stronger rights, in which case those rights apply.
