What does Refluxora do?
Refluxora helps adults organize observations about GERD and LPR. Describe or photograph a meal, record symptoms, understand a lab result you already have, and prepare questions for your clinician. AI explanations are educational; a saved observation does not establish a personal trigger or diagnosis.
Is Refluxora medical advice?
No. Refluxora is an educational tracker for informational purposes only. It is not a medical device, does not diagnose, treat, or cure any condition, and is not a substitute for advice from your gastroenterologist, ENT, or other qualified healthcare provider. How does the AI Coach work?
Choose or write a question and review any attached records before sending. After consent, the selected regional service processes the question for source search and an AI answer. Mainland China (Apple storefront CHN or device region CN) uses Qwen through our Alibaba Cloud service. Other regions use OpenAI for source-search embeddings and DeepSeek for answers through Cloudflare. UI language alone does not select the server. Everyday conversation does not require medical citations; medical explanations use relevant retrieved material. You can decline AI and keep local observations. AI can be incomplete or incorrect.
How does meal analysis work?
Describe a meal or select a photo. After consent, photo analysis uses Qwen in mainland China and OpenAI elsewhere through our regional service. AI identifies visible food components; the app provides a general consideration and a practical next step. This does not establish your personal triggers or reveal every ingredient. A local copy is saved with your meal record. See our Privacy Policy for provider processing and retention.
Can I understand an existing lab result?
Choose a result photo or enter its fields manually. Photo transcription requires internet and consent. Check the test name, value, units and printed reference before saving. An optional AI explanation can help prepare questions for your clinician. Missing units and reference ranges remain unknown. The app does not order tests or prescribe treatment.
What is the throat and voice questionnaire for?
The RSI questionnaire lets you record reported symptoms over time. A saved score is an observation, not confirmation of LPR or a diagnosis. Discuss symptoms and scores with a qualified clinician.
Is my health data private?
Your observations and conversations are saved in local app storage. After contextual consent, selected photos, descriptions, questions and record context are processed by AI providers through our service when you request an AI feature. Billing is handled by Apple and RevenueCat. First-party product measurement, when enabled, is separate from your health journal. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
How is my first visit personalized?
After onboarding and subscription access, a short quiz asks what you want help with. You can see a skippable, clearly marked example before trying your own information. Today then helps you find the saved result and continue with a related observation. Examples stay separate from your personal history.
How much does Refluxora cost?
Refluxora offers:
Apple shows the exact local price, eligibility and billing terms before purchase. Annual and Weekly without an eligible free introductory period are charged at confirmation. After a confirmed free period, Weekly renews at the displayed weekly price unless cancelled. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Go to Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Refluxora on your device and tap Cancel Subscription. You can also reach this from Refluxora's in-app Settings → Your subscription.
Can I use the app without AI?
Choose Not now when the AI consent sheet appears. You can keep local observations without requesting AI processing. AI features run when you request them; avoid sharing information unnecessary for your question. Internal debug controls are for testing, not part of the ordinary customer flow.
What iOS version is required?
Refluxora requires iOS 17.0 or later.
What if I get an error when scanning or chatting with Coach?
Photo analysis, lab transcription and AI explanations need internet. If a request fails, your saved records remain available; check the connection and retry. Manual logging is available offline. An unanalysed record is not displayed as a successful AI result.
Does Refluxora work in my country?
Refluxora is available in 50 App Store locales. Clinical references are based on US/UK/EU guidelines (ACG, AGA, AAO-HNS, ACOG, NHS, DGVS). Medication names and availability vary by country — always check with a local healthcare provider.
Can I export my data for my doctor?
Open Progress to export your saved observations as a PDF. Report options appear when you choose to export. Marked examples are excluded from personal reports. Review the report before sharing it with your clinician.
