Refluxora also follows Apple's standard EULA, the Licensed Application End User License Agreement, in accordance with App Store policy. Where these Terms are silent on a topic, Apple's standard EULA applies.
Subject to these Terms and Apple's standard EULA, the developer grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, for personal, non-commercial use.
Refluxora is an educational Health & Fitness companion. It is not a medical device, not a diagnostic tool, and not a substitute for professional medical advice, examination, diagnosis, or treatment.
Refluxora does not diagnose GERD, LPR (silent reflux), Barrett's esophagus, esophagitis, hiatal hernia, eosinophilic esophagitis, or any condition; does not prescribe or change medication or dosing (including PPIs such as omeprazole, H2 blockers such as famotidine, vonoprazan/Voquezna, or any antacid); and does not stage esophageal disease from RSI (Reflux Symptom Index) figures. You must be at least 12 years old to use the App (the App's App Store age rating), and old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction, or have a parent or guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf and supervises your use.
Refluxora offers the following purchases, processed entirely through Apple's App Store:
Both tiers grant identical access to the App's premium features (cohort-routed Today dashboard, Meal Scan, Menu Pre-Scan, AI Reflux Coach, Progress charts, doctor-shareable PDF, taper / Voquezna / Acid Watcher / Pregnancy-safe protocol tracking). Annual is approximately 85% cheaper per week than Weekly.
Additional tiers — Annual Family (2 profiles) and Lifetime — are deferred to a future release based on user demand. Optional add-on subscriptions (LPR Pro, Voquezna Companion, PPI Taper Pro, Diet Lab) may be offered as separate purchases in a future release at prices shown in the App at that time.
Prices and the availability of features may vary by territory. The exact local price is displayed in the in-App paywall and on the App Store before purchase.
The 7-day free trial is offered to first-time Weekly and Annual subscribers. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the subscription auto-renews at the standard rate. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription. Trial eligibility may be revoked if Apple detects abuse.
All payments are processed by Apple. Refund requests must be submitted directly to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. The developer does not directly issue refunds.
Without an active subscription, the App provides limited access (a preview of features and demo data). Full features unlock with an active subscription entitlement.
The App is an educational wellness companion. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition, and use of the App does not establish a doctor-patient relationship. You agree not to:
Reflux symptoms, RSI scores, meal/menu photos, medication and taper logs, symptom notes, and chat messages you create in the App ("User Content") remain your property. By using the App you grant the developer a limited, royalty-free license to process User Content solely as needed to deliver the App's functionality (for example transmitting a meal or menu photo to the AI vision provider for OCR or ranking after you opt in, as described in the Privacy Policy). The developer claims no ownership of User Content and does not retain it on external servers after API processing.
The App, the Refluxora name, the logo, the on-device knowledge base, the design system, and all associated graphics and copy are the intellectual property of Valerii Loveiko, except for third-party content cited in the AI Coach knowledge base, which remains the property of its respective publishers and is used under fair-use educational principles for citation snippets only.
The App relies on third-party services described in the Privacy Policy §3 (OpenAI, DeepSeek, Cloudflare, RevenueCat, Supabase, Apple). Their respective terms apply to their portion of the service. References to brand-name drugs, devices, or clinics — including but not limited to Voquezna / vonoprazan (Phathom Pharmaceuticals), omeprazole / Prilosec, famotidine / Pepcid, Tums, Maalox, Mylanta, Gaviscon, the Acid Watcher diet (Dr. Jonathan Aviv), and any clinical guideline body — are for identification only. Refluxora is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Phathom Pharmaceuticals, AstraZeneca, Procter & Gamble (Prilosec), Johnson & Johnson, GSK, Reckitt, Dr. Aviv, Dr. Jamie Koufman, the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Gastroenterological Association, the American Academy of Otolaryngology, ACOG, IFFGD, or any pharmaceutical or device manufacturer or clinical body. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.
The developer may modify, suspend, or discontinue the App, any feature, or any subscription tier at any time without prior notice. Material changes to subscription terms will be communicated through the App or by an updated Effective Date on this page.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including without limitation warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, completeness, or uninterrupted availability. Reflux trigger ratings, RSI calculations, menu pre-scan rankings, dish pH scores, drug-interaction flags, and AI Coach responses are educational approximations and may be inaccurate. RSI and trigger figures are self-logged tracking values, not clinical assessments.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, treatment outcomes, side effects, or other intangible losses arising out of or related to your use of the App. The developer's total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the App is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid for the App in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or (b) USD 50.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the developer from any claim, damage, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your misuse of the App or your violation of these Terms.
The developer may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms. You may terminate your use at any time by uninstalling the App. Surviving sections include §5 (Educational Use), §8 (IP), §11 (Disclaimers), §12 (Liability), and §13 (Indemnification).
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the developer's place of residence, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction, unless a non-waivable consumer-protection law in your jurisdiction grants you the right to bring proceedings locally.
We may update these Terms occasionally. Material changes will be indicated by updating the Effective Date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
