SnapFlip 2.0 Privacy Policy

SnapFlip is developed by Valeriy Loveiko. This page describes SnapFlip 2.0, including its TestFlight builds. Earlier versions follow the previous-version policy. SnapFlip helps you identify items, compare marketplace examples, prepare listings and record your own flips. AI results and market samples are estimates you must verify; they do not guarantee authenticity, condition, a sale or profit.

What is processed and why

Data	Purpose and service providers
Photos you capture or select, item hints, the details you type and your answers to price questions	Sent over HTTPS through our Cloudflare Worker to OpenAI to identify the item and estimate its resale price. We do not send your RevenueCat identifier to OpenAI with the photo.
Item names, checked notes and separately labelled unverified photo suggestions	Sent through Cloudflare to DeepSeek to prepare listing text. Item photos are not sent to DeepSeek. Do not include personal or sensitive information in item notes.
Item search words and your country	Sent through Cloudflare to the official eBay Browse API to show current eBay listings for the item and, where available, to adjust the AI estimate with their asking prices. Only the search words and the eBay marketplace for your country are sent; no photo, name or account identifier. Listings are cached for up to 3 hours. Asking prices are not sold prices. SnapFlip is independent and not affiliated with eBay.
Next Flip: titles, categories, verdicts and prices of your recent scans, and the categories you follow	Sent through Cloudflare to OpenAI to suggest what to look for next. Your weekly edition is cached on our server for about a week and daily ideas for about a day. A shared weekly overview per country is researched by OpenAI web search and contains no personal data.
Your “Right / Off” answer on a price	Stored in Cloudflare D1 with the item name, category, market and the estimate shown, to check and improve price accuracy. Kept for up to 365 days; Settings → Delete cloud data removes it sooner.
Subscription and technical access data	Apple handles purchases. RevenueCat processes its anonymous app user identifier, product and subscription status. Our server checks SnapFlip access, stores a short-lived access cache and enforces usage limits. Cloudflare processes network information needed to deliver and protect requests; quota identifiers derived from IP addresses are hashed.
Consent and product events	Cloudflare D1 stores consent version, date and each choice, plus limited product event names and dates linked to a pseudonymous app identifier. Events exclude photos, listing drafts, transaction amounts and free-form notes.

SnapFlip 2.0 does not include AppsFlyer attribution, does not request advertising tracking permission, and does not display third-party advertisements or sell personal information.

Local records and retention

Your My Flips photos, item records, drafts, amounts, dates and local goals are saved on this iPhone. Saved checks may be linked from earlier scan data. Individual records can be deleted in the app. Export important records before removing the app; SnapFlip does not provide a cloud backup of My Flips. Device backups are controlled by your Apple settings.
Our Worker does not save photo or listing-draft request bodies. OpenAI's standard API abuse-monitoring logs may be retained for up to 30 days, subject to its policy and exceptions.
DeepSeek processes text in China. We do not promise a fixed retention period for DeepSeek's provider logs; its applicable terms and policies govern that processing. Deleting a local draft does not itself delete provider logs.
eBay listing results are cached for up to 3 hours and shared between users of the same search; they contain eBay listings rather than your private My Flips records. Next Flip editions are cached for about a week. Price answers are kept for up to 365 days.
Product events are kept for up to 90 days and are also removed with the expired cloud-search cleanup. Consent records remain to document permissions after that automatic cleanup; Settings → Delete cloud data removes your server-side consent and cloud records as well. Temporary quota/access records expire through scheduled cleanup.

Your choices

Before the first AI or marketplace request, SnapFlip asks for one versioned consent with separate choices. The “What's shared” links explain providers before you agree. A change of provider or purpose requires updated consent. Settings lets you withdraw AI permission, stop and remove cloud searches, delete cloud data, and export local records. Withdrawal stops new requests in that scope; it does not erase completed local work or automatically erase third-party logs. Deleting cloud data does not cancel an Apple subscription. Cancel subscriptions in iPhone Settings → your Apple account → Subscriptions.

When a subscription ends, new paid checks and AI work stop. Existing My Flips records remain available for reading, exporting, deleting and recording a sale or costs for an already started flip. Paused cloud candidates are hidden. Restoring access before the cleanup period permits checking again; it does not guarantee that a marketplace listing is still available.

Provider policies and international processing

Providers may process data outside your country. See OpenAI data controls, DeepSeek privacy and terms, Cloudflare privacy, RevenueCat privacy, eBay privacy and Apple privacy. Provider retention and deletion are subject to their applicable policies and agreements.

You may request access, correction or deletion and exercise other rights available in your jurisdiction by contacting love8ko.apps@gmail.com. We may need information to locate your pseudonymous cloud records. SnapFlip is not intended for children under 13 or below the applicable age of consent. If you believe a child supplied personal information, contact us. We update this page when data practices change and request fresh in-app consent when needed.
