What does VeriBag actually do?: VeriBag is an AI-assisted consistency check against 22 documented reference points per brand-model. It compares your photos to public authentication guides (Bagaholic, Lollipuff, Purseblog, Yoogi's Closet) and produces a structured reference report with per-checkpoint notes. It is not an authentication service.
Is this a certificate of authenticity?: No. VeriBag does not issue certificates of authenticity and does not guarantee authenticity. For high-value transactions we recommend pairing our report with a professional physical authenticator (Entrupy, Bababebi, Real Authentication, or a trusted expert).
Are you affiliated with Louis Vuitton / Chanel / Hermès / any brand?: No. VeriBag is an independent reference tool. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any luxury brand. All brand and model names are used nominatively to describe which reference pattern the app is comparing against.
What brands does VeriBag support?: A curated list of popular secondhand handbag families across the major makers, with specific flagship models for each. We add coverage over time based on user feedback.
How accurate is it?: Accuracy depends heavily on photo quality and the specific checkpoint. We report "X of 22 checkpoints consistent" rather than a single binary verdict so you can see exactly which points support or weaken the comparison. The AI model can misread novel variations, unusual lighting, or heavily worn details — always pair with your own judgment and, for high-value items, a professional service.
How many scans do I get?: Weekly Pro (with 7-day free trial): unlimited scans, soft cap of 50 per week. Annual Pro: unlimited scans. Lifetime Pro: unlimited forever.
How do I cancel my subscription?: Cancel anytime from iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions, or tap "Manage subscription" in the VeriBag Settings tab → "Continue to cancel in Apple Settings". Your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period.
How do I share a report with a buyer?: Open any saved report → tap Share → "Share link" sends a QR-linked verify URL the buyer can open in any browser. Or "Save PDF" saves a full multi-page reference report to Files, AirDrop, or Mail. The buyer does not need the VeriBag app to view the verify page.
Is my data private?: Yes. Scan photos are sent to our analysis proxy for the ~30-second scan only and are not retained on our servers. Your scan history lives locally on your device via Apple SwiftData. The public verify page shows only what you explicitly share. See our Privacy Policy for details.
How do I delete a report?: In the Library tab, swipe left on any report to reveal Share and Delete, or long-press the report for a menu with Share · Favorite · Delete. Deleting removes the scan from your device AND revokes the associated QR verify link.
Why private scan mode?: Tap the ▱ icon before a scan to skip saving it to your Library. Useful if you're checking a bag you don't own or don't want in your history. Fully local — nothing syncs to our servers.

Subscription and billing

All subscription purchases, renewals, and cancellations are managed by Apple. VeriBag does not process payments directly.

To request a refund, use Apple's Report a Problem portal.
To manage or cancel your subscription, go to iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → VeriBag.
If you reinstall the app, tap "Restore purchase" on the paywall to re-activate your plan.
